Active was made by a dentist and a dental hygienist. Between them, about forty years of looking inside the mouths of denture wearers, and hearing the same complaints on repeat.
Bad breath. Plates that never sat right. Food they couldn't shift after a meal out. Chewing gum would have helped with most of it, if a single gum on the shelf had been built for a denture.
None were. So they built one.

No. Active is no harder to chew than normal food, and no dentures were damaged during testing.
Sip some cold water, or keep the pack in the fridge. If it keeps happening, it's worth having your dentures checked. Grinding wears tiny grooves into them over time, and anything will catch in those.
